Every year in hundreds of cities and over thirty nations around the world, Tim Tebow’s foundation sponsors a prom style event for people with special needs. The event is called “A NIGHT TO SHINE”.

A couple of members from the YOLI GIVE board (the charitable arm of YOLI), were involved in putting the event on. YOLI donated some product for the gift bags. A group of us from the marketing department were invited to come and document the event. Here are some images from the Quad Cities Night To Shine 2020, held at the Tax Slayer event center in Moline, Illinois.

Guests were given a red carpet entrance. A local TV celebrity announced each person by name along with some gracious compliment about how beautiful they looked. The red carpet was surrounded by cheering masses, showering them with love and exciting vibes. Upon exiting the red carpet, each guest was welcomed by a line of local pageant queens.

The Tax Slayer Center is a 12,000 seat arena. The arena floor was turned into a massive dance floor along with tables and chairs for guests to rest, talk, and enjoy some food.

Toward the end of the night Tim Tebow appeared on the jumbo screen giving everyone a welcome and announcing that everyone would be crowned king, and queen, of the prom. Following Tim’s message, each guest was crowned by one of the event dignitaries.
