Are you looking at the labels of foods you used to eat? A lot of processed foods have a long shelf life due to their preservatives and artificial ingredients, which can lead to unintended health consequences. When you’re shopping, look for natural foods with short and recognizable ingredient lists. Or, better yet, pull out some cookbooks and rediscover the fun of cooking.
Avoid white carbs (such as white bread), as they contain processed sugars and refined grains, stripping them of their nutrients.
